KNITWEAR

Machine wash at low temperature (30oc) but more importantly a minimum cycle

If you choose to hand wash a garment ensure that the water30oc will feel almost cold to touch

Always re-shape garment after washing

Dry flat, avoiding direct heat and sunlight

When drying flat, place on a white towel

Try to air garment instead of laundering

All knitwear is prone to pilling. This is unavoidable natural occurrence

SHOES

Do not wear leather soled shoes on a wet surface for the first few times of wear

Wet shoes should always be left to dry naturally, neverneeds to dry naturally

The use of shoetrees will maintain the shape of your shoes and therefore, the comfort when being worn

With repeated wear, leather soles will wear away and will need to be replaced. Never allow the deterioration to become excessive

All shoes need regular cleaning.

                       These terms and conditions ("Terms") explain your rights and obligations in relation to this web site located at www.studio148.co.uk ("Site") and any goods purchased through this Site. Please read them carefully. You may have other rights granted by law and these Terms do not affect these. If there is anything you do not understand then please contact us.

                       We may change the Terms at any time by posting such changes on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after notice of changes shall mean you are bound by the new terms.

•    USE OF THE SITE

                       The content of and copyright in the Site is owned by or licensed to us. You are permitted to view or print individual pages for your own personal use. Any other use must be with our prior written permission.

                       We reserve the right to suspend, restrict or terminate your use of this Site at any time.

•    PURCHASING FROM US

                       The Site and the goods sold through it are subject to change without notice and we reserve the right to improve, alter or modify designs without prior notification. We will inform you of any changes to the advertised goods prior to despatch of such goods. If you are unhappy with these improved, altered or modified goods you may inform us within 7 days, starting on the day after the goods are delivered to you. In order to receive a refund, the goods must be returned in their original unworn condition and with all packaging and tags etc. in tact, together with your receipt. We recommend that you retain all of the original packaging and tags until you are sure that you intend to keep the goods. (Please note: Carriage costs will be refunded only if the item is faulty, or if it differs in any way from the advertised goods.)                        Whilst we try to display goods on our Site that are held in stock, if the ordered goods are not available we will advise you of this as soon as reasonably possible. You will be given the option of ordering an alternative product or receiving a full refund.

                       By submitting your order you are offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details on to couriers and other subcontractors).

                       We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed that we have accepted your order and received payment in full. Your order will be deemed to have been accepted when we despatch to you the goods which form the subject matter of your order. We may at our total discretion reject your order.

                       All drawings, specifications, sizes, photographs, descriptive matter and advertising published by us or contained on our Site are issued only for giving an approximate idea of the goods described in them and colours shown are intended as a guide only. They do not form part of the Terms.

•    PRICING

                       All prices are in British Pounds and include Value Added Tax. We reserve the right to adjust the VAT element if this changes from 17.5%. The cost of transporting goods ("Carriage & Insurance Costs") are as set out within our ‘Delivery & Returns Policy’ here and are based on the shipping location. These Carriage & Insurance Costs shall be added to the price to be paid by you.

•    DELIVERY

                       We aim to deliver goods to you within 3-5 working days but we cannot give an exact delivery date. If we are unable to deliver the goods within 30 days of receiving your order, we will inform you, then if you wish, you may cancel the contract and we will refund any money paid by you.

•    DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE GOODS

•    LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

                       WE DO NOT LIMIT OUR LIABILITY TO YOU FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE OR FOR FRAUD.

                       This agreement between us is personal to us and no other person who is not party to these Terms shall be entitled to enforce any term of this Agreement under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 (or any analogous laws).

                       The Terms are the entire terms and conditions between us in relation to your use of this Site and any purchase made over the Site and no other terms, conditions or representations made by us and any of our employees or agents (unless made fraudulently) shall apply.

                       The Terms shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. All dealings, correspondence and contact between us shall be made or conducted in the English language.

                       If you are a consumer (i.e. you are not purchasing either wholly or in part for your business or you are not a business) you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel the contract and receive a refund. You must inform us if you wish to cancel within 7 days, starting on the day after the goods are delivered to you. If you choose to cancel then the goods must be returned to us in their original unworn condition and with all packaging and tags etc. in tact, together with your receipt. Please note that Carriage & Insurance Costs can only be refunded if the goods are faulty. Please refer to our ‘Delivery & Returns Policy’ for full details on how to return an item.

RETURNS & EXCHANGE

At Studio148.co.uk we want you to be fully satisfied every time you purchase from us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items, so below is our returns policy:

Any garments altered may not be returned under company policy.

Returns

  To make a return a Returns Authorisation Number must be obtained by emailing us    with your name, order number and reason for return to contact@studio148.co.uk 

If the goods delivered are faulty or have been damaged in transit, then we will either exchange the goods free of charge, or give you a full refund including delivery costs, providing the goods are returned to us within 14 days from the date of delivery.

We strongly advise all customers to check garments thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags.

Studio148.co.uk will accept returns for non-faulty items however Studio 148 will not accept returns for items that have been worn and tags removed. Upon receipt of an order, if any item has been received with no tags, customers should notify us (by telephone or email) on the same day if they wish to return.

Refunds of postage fees will only be paid on faulty or mislabelled items.

In all circumstances you must contact us first in writing, by email @ contact@studio148.co.uk  in order to inform us of your intentions and to obtain a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN). We reserve the right to refuse returns if this procedure is not followed.

Please ensure you have read and understood thoroughly ‘How to return or exchange an item’ below before returning goods.

Exchanges

If the ordered is in the wrong size and an exchange is required, this can be provided but a delivery charge may be incurred. If you want to exchange the item for an alternative one, please contact us initially to obtain a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) and to ensure that the size you need is available. Please note the goods must be in their original condition and packaging with all tags etc. intact, as we cannot exchange used goods. Please see ‘Returns’ section above for specific conditions. A delivery charge may be incurred for sending out any new goods.

All exchanges are offered subject to product availability and the customer will incur any shipping costs for such exchanges.

Exchanged items will only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received complete with a RAN and undergone a quality control check.

Please ensure you have read and understood thoroughly 'How to return or exchange an item' below before exchanging goods.

How to return or exchange an item

In order to facilitate the return of your items you must contact us first in writing at contact@studio148.co.uk  in order to inform us of your intentions and to obtain a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN). This must be done within 14 days of receiving your order. We reserve the right to refuse returns if this procedure is not followed.

Please ensure that you enclose your original invoice with the items you are returning along with a note giving the reason for the return or the exchange. Please then wrap the package safely & securely and send it to the address below. In the case of a defective item, please in addition provide a full description of the fault and again, send it to us in its original condition and all packaging and tags etc. intact. Refunds

All items must be returned to us following the guidelines and conditions above before a refund or replacement is issued.

Refunds to you will normally be made within 30 days of the date of cancellation notice. All undamaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchaser's credit/debit card excluding shipping charges unless faulty (please see above). As previously stated in our Delivery Policy, international customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable for shipments outside the European Community (EU).

As an alternative to a credit/debit card refund, you can request a Studio 148 store credit that can be used against future purchase at Studio 148 store (excluding online).

No Partial Refunds given.

Cancelling an item

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within seven working days of delivery. However, we regret that we cannot accept cancellations of orders where the item has been worn, not in its original condition or without all its packaging and tags.

To cancel this contract, please send an email to contact@studio148.co.uk  giving the reason for the return as "Contract cancellation". Please package the relevant item safely & securely and send it to us with the original delivery slip so that we receive it within seven working days of the date that the item was delivered to you.
